Does the non-CFLRF funding need to be appropriate Forest Service funds or can it contain a mix of appropriated funds and other funds?
Answer
A mix of funds can be used consistent with primary purpose. Matching funds can come from a combination of appropriated, permanent and trust, partnership, and forest product value (in stewardship contracts). The documentation accompanying the project submission needs to include an estimate of the anticipated funding. See the following related questions.
