Timber Tips
Originally released bi-monthly from 1957 through 1972, Timber Tips was published to transmit ideas of interest and success stories to Forest Service Timber Management people across forest, regional, and station boundaries. It has recently been revived in digital form with aim to increase the Forest Service’s excellence in sale preparation and forest management. Our editors are always looking for good suggestions, success stories, ideas, innovations and applications.
