Zuni fleabane grows in the Zuni Mountains of the Cibola National Forest, New Mexico. Plants grow on sparsely vegetated slopes in pinyon-juniper woodlands. The clay soils are saline and sometimes high in selenium. Photo by Heather Hollis, U.S. Forest Service.
