Picnicking
There are a variety of wonderful places to enjoy picnics with family and friends. Pack a lunch and enjoy the cool shade near under cottonwood trees on the Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands or near a lake in the whispering pines on the Pike-San Isabel National Forests. Some day-use picnic areas require nominal fees that contribute toward maintaining these sites.
