Pikes Peak Ranger District officials announce temporary closure of Seven Bridges Trail (FST #622)

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., June 5, 2025 — Due to recent heavy rainfall and potential for hazardous conditions, the Pike-San Isabel National Forests & Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands (PSICC), Pikes Peak Ranger District has temporarily closed the Seven Bridges Trail (Forest Service Trail #622). To ensure public safety, the trail is closed from the trailhead section of Gold Camp Road to the southeast corner of Jones Park.
Officials are urging residents and visitors to avoid affected areas until conditions improve. The affected area is currently being assessed, and updates will be regularly posted on the PSICC alerts page.
Forest visitors are encouraged to “Know Before You Go.” The weather can change suddenly and dramatically. Be prepared by monitoring the weather before setting out for the day.
