Job Corps Vocational Training

Job Corps students complete 8-24 months of career training programs aligned with industry-based skill standards, nationally recognized certifications, or union apprenticeship programs. Students receive hands-on experience through our work-based learning program, internships, and job shadowing opportunities with employers where they gain skills in real work environments.

Forest Service Job Corps Civilian Conservation Centers (CCCs), offer career technical skills in nine high-growth industry sectors:

  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Automotive and Machine Repair
  • Construction
  • Finance and Business
  • Healthcare
  • Hospitality
  • Information Technology
  • Renewable Resources and Energy
  • Transportation

Students have access to room and board while they learn skills in specific training areas. In addition to helping students complete their education, obtain career technical skills and gain employment, Job Corps also provides transitional support services, such as help finding employment, housing, childcare, and transportation.
