Mill Creek Campground

Mill Creek Campground is a small campground not far from Sheridan, MT with 10 designated campsites. This site has a vault toilet, garbage services and water is also available. The maximum recommended trailer length for the campground is 22 feet. Stay limit is 16 days, and there is no daily fee is required for use. Food and refuse storage requirements are in effect and enforced at this campground.

Potosi Campground and Picnic Area

This is a nice campground located on the east side of the Tobacco Root Mountains with South Willow Creek running through the middle. There are 15 designated campsites, a picnic day-use area, vault toilets, and drinking water at this site. There are no garbage services, so pack it in and pack it out. We recommend trailer length does not exceed 22'.

Riverview Campground

This RV friendly campground sits on a bench above the Madison River with vistas of the Madison Range. Riverview Campground lies on a sagebrush and gross flat overlooking the Madison River and the Madison mountain range. This is a small campsite with 7 designated sites directly adjacent to West Fork of the Madison River with tent camping only. Vault toilets, water, garbage services and fishing access are available.

Kirby Day Use Area

Kirby Day Use Area makes for a nice day trip less than an hour from Ennis.

Clover Meadows Dispersed Camping and Picnic Area

Dispersed camping and picnic area that is flat and open with well-maintained trails to enjoy a hike on. There is no water or garbage services at this site, but if rustic and simple tent camping is what you're after, this is a beautiful option with a day-use picnic area and vault toilet.

Antone Station

The Antone Cabin sits in a beautiful open meadow, at the edge of a thick forest, providing visitors with a unique camping experience in the mountains of southwestern Montana. The cabin opens for use on July 1st and stays open through December 31, and it is most popular during hunting season. Bear Creek Bunkhouse

The cabin is located at the edge of the Lee Metcalf Wilderness, at the foot of the Madison Range. The bunkhouse is used in the summer and fall as an administrative site. Bear Creek runs near the cabin and bunkhouse.

Black Butte Cabin

Black Butte Cabin is a snug log cabin that sits high in the Gravelly Mountains. It sleeps four people and has scenic views of Lion Mountain. The area is home to a variety of wildlife and provides access to numerous trails for hiking, horseback riding and off-road vehicles during warmer months, and snowmobiles in the winter. Vigilante Cabin

This was once a guard station in the early 1920s. The Vigilante cabins were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1920s.  Forest Service employees still use the other buildings during the year. Only the middle house is available for public use.

Wall Creek Cabin

This is a popular cabin as it is near the Wall Creek Game Management Area south of Ennis, Montana. There are three buildings at this site: a barn, a main house, and the cabin. Only the cabin is available for public use. The barn and main house are used by the grazing association. The facility was a ranger station until the 1940s.

West Fork Cabin

This cabin is located south of Black Butte in the Gravelly Mountain Range.
