Expected delay on Forest Service Road (FSR) 46

Starting May 15, those traveling on Forest Service Road (FSR) 46 should expect a 2-hour to 3-hour delay on the lower portion of the road. Contractors will begin extensive road reconstruction starting on May 15 and the work is expected to last for three months. This construction will cause travel delays which will include extended road closures each day. Both lanes for FSR 46 will be closed weekdays, Monday thru Friday, during the following time periods:

• 7:00 am to 10:00 am
• 10:30 am to 12:30 am
• 13:00 pm to 3:00 pm
• 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm

 *Exact times and duration of the delays may shift with the reconstruction work.

Flaggers will be present during daylight hours during construction. In the evenings and during the night, green/red lights activated by sensors will be present in the road closure areas to ensure safe travel
