Find a Partnership Contact

The right partnership contact will depend on the partner’s focus area. For geography-specific projects, a local contact may be appropriate. For topic-specific projects, a regional or national contact may be appropriate. The National Partnership Office can help facilitate connections if general Forest Service information and contacts are not sufficient.

The National Partnership Office facilitates partnership development across the Forest Service. This allows the agency to better fulfill its mission and provide inclusive service to meet the needs of present and future generations. They also work to cultivate national-level partnerships with the private sector for the benefit of the agency. The National Partnership Office has three programmatic focus areas.

Workforce Development Partnerships - Aligns hiring authorities for emerging professionals to increase the pipeline of underrepresented communities in USDA Forest Service jobs.  WDP programs include the Resource Assistants Program, Youth Conservation Corps, Public Lands Corps, Indian Youth Service Corps, and many more internship and scholarship opportunities.
