Safety and Health
The Safety Program's goal is to help reduce the occupational safety and health risks in the Forest Service. MTDC works with the Washington Office Safety Group and Forest Service field units on a variety of safety- and health-related matters each year. The Center conducts investigations and studies, evaluates new safety products, answers questions from field personnel on the Health and Safety Code and on safety policy procedures, and makes presentations to special meetings and workshops.
