Sugar Creek Trailhead
Sugar Creek Trailhead is located off Forest Service Road 1600 in Leslie County and provides access to the Redbird Crest Trail. The challenging Redbird Crest Trail provides a nearly 100-mile loop trail that is developed for Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) riders, hikers, horseback riders and mountain bikers. The site has a designated parking and loading area, visitor information, trash collection and primitive camping opportunities.

Directions
From Hyden, travel west on US 421/KY 80 for approx. 7 miles. Turn onto Forest Service Road 1533 (Gilbert Creek Road), travel approx. 1 mile. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 1600. Trailhead will be on the left.
From Manchester, travel east on KY 9006 (Hal Rogers Parkway) for 13.1 miles to Exit 34, Big Creek. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto KY 66. Go 0.7 miles (passing under the parkway) to the intersection with US 421/KY 80. Turn left onto US 421/KY 80 and travel for for approx. 4 miles. Turn onto Forest Service Road 1533 (Gilbert Creek Road), travel approx. 1 mile. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 1600. Trailhead will be on the left.
