Bear Creek Trailhead

Bear Creek Trailhead is located off KY 66 in Clay County and provides southern access the Redbird Crest Trail. The challenging Redbird Crest Trail provides a nearly 100-mile loop trail that is developed for Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) riders, hikers, horseback riders and mountain bikers. The site has designated parking, visitor information and trash collection.

Travel Considerations

From Roark, head northwest on KY 406 for 0.8 mile. Turn left onto KY 66 S and continue for 0.5 mile. The trailhead will be on the right.
