This 7 mile trail is located within the North Fork John Day Wilderness. It begins at Glade Creek/Cold Springs Trailhead just off Forest Road #1010 and heads northeast to end at Dixon Bar on North Fork John Day River Trail #3022.

Junctions with Basin Creek Trail #3006 and Cold Spring Trail #3008 which provides a loop option.

Getting There

Directions

From Dale OR, go north on US-395 about 1.2 miles and turn right (east) onto Forest Road 55. After less than 1 mile, turn right onto Forest Road 10 and travel about 10 miles east to Forest Road 1010. Turn left on Forest Road 1010 and go about 10 miles to the Glade Creek/Cold Springs Trailhead on the north side of the road.
