Forest Service Road 1004 (Bunn Creek Road) inaccessible Sept. 25-29

Forest Service Road (FSR) 1004, also known as Bunn Creek Road and located near Beaver, Ore., will be inaccessible from milepost 0 to 3.2 due to road maintenance. Closures and/or long delays are expected to occur between September 25-29. Be aware of heavy machinery and irregular road conditions. This work is weather dependent and may be delayed. 

Detour: From HWY 101 head, north towards HWY 871. Turn left onto HWY 871 (west) towards Sand Lake Recreation Area. After a few miles, turn left onto FSR 1106. Take FSR 1106 south to access the end of FSR 1004. Watch for log truck traffic on road 1106.
