Schaefer Creek Campground
Located along the Chiwawa River, 21 miles from Lake Wenatchee, river access is available at the campground.
Reservations
This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site.
General Information
(2 vehicles per site maximum) 2 tents or 1 RV and 1 tent maximum per site.
50% discount for single site camping with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age, or Golden Access. Applies to fee for site occupied by the pass holder.
Trailers: 30 feet maximum
Overnight Use:
Single Site: $22 per night
Additional Vehicle: $11 per vehicle per night

Directions
From Leavenworth, stay on US-2 West for 15 miles. At Coles Corner, turn right onto WA-207 North and go 4.4 miles. Go right on Chiwawa Loop Road and stay right at the intersection. Then take the second left onto Chiwawa River Road/Forest Road 6200 and follow it for about 15 miles.
