Mystery Campground

Small Group Site. This small, quiet, forested campground is located along the Twisp River about 12.5 miles west of Twisp. 

Enjoy hiking on nearby trails, bicycling on quiet forest roads or mountain biking on nearby Twisp River Trail or accessing any of a number of hiking trails that lead into the Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness.

Reservations

This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. 

General Information

Typically late May - October

50% discount for single site camping with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age, or Golden Access. Applies to fee for site occupied by the pass holder.

Overnight Use:
Group Site: $40 per night

Payment options: use a mobile phone to Scan & Pay.

Directions

From Twisp, turn west off State Highway 20 onto paved Twisp River Road (County Road #9114). At 12 miles the road turns into Forest Road #44. At 6 more miles, road turns into gravel Forest Road #4440, road forks, stay to the left, drive 0.20 mile to campground on the left before bridge crossing (18.5 total miles northwest of Twisp).
