Table Mountain Area Closure on the Cle Elum Ranger District
In order to lessen impacts on deer and elk during fawning and calving seasons and to protect the resources from damage due to rutting and erosion during wet periods, roads close seasonally to motorized vehicles in the Table Mountain Area.

Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50(a)&(b), the following acts are prohibited in order to improve the un-roaded character of big game hunting, to lessen impacts on Deer and Elk during fawning and calving seasons and to protect the resources from damage due to rutting and erosion during wet periods:
The area, roads and trails within the boundary shown on map, exhibit 1, are closed to motorized use, except snowmobiles, between October 15 and June 15 annually, with the following exceptions:
- Motorized vehicles licensed for highway use are permitted on the following listed roads: 35, 3517, 3521, 3500124, 3517111, 3521113, 3500125, 3517112, 3530, 3500126, 3517113, 3530115, 3507, 9712 and on roads clearly marked with a green diamond, terminating at a vehicle closure sign or barricade.
- Motorized vehicles licensed for highway use are permitted off listed roads to a distance of 100 feet for parking or camping purposes, in a manner which does not damage or unreasonably disturb the land, wildlife or vegetative resources.

EXEMPTIONS
The following persons are exempt from this order:
- Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or fire fighting force in the performance of an official duty.
- Those with a permit issued by the District Ranger or Forest Supervisor.
