This Trail Open to Hiker and Equestrian Use.

Provides access toPacific Crest National Scenic Trail #2000 just west of Mt Adams Wilderness.

Wilderness Permit required if entering Mt. Adams Wilderness. Free self-issue permits available at trailhead. 

Wilderness Regulations apply in Mt Adams Wilderness. Closed to All Motorized Use. Bicycle Use Prohibited.

From Trout Lake, WA, take Mount Adams Highway north for about 2 miles to Forest Road 23, Follow Forest Road 23 about 15 miles to the Pacific Crest Trail crossing and access point.
