Big Cove Campground is a wonderful location for a family outing away from life in the big city. The campground has water, showers, flush toilets and trash service.

Chilcoot Campground is in the shade of large cottonwoods in a mixed pine forest alongside Little Last Chance Creek.

Cottonwood Springs Campground is located near  Frenchman Lake in mixed conifer and high desert vegetation. It has 20 family sites and two group sites.

Tucked away off of the busy areas, this day use area is popular fishing access point on Frenchman Lake. It includes a parking area and vault toilet.

This is one of two boat launch facilities on Frenchman Lake. It is located on the south shore about a quarter mile from the dam and next to Frenchman Campground.

Frenchman Campground is situated on a hillside next to the Frenchman Boat Launch Facility. In winter, snow usually closes the road. 17 of the 38 campsites may be reserved.

This is one of two boat launch facilities on Frenchman Lake. It is located on the west shore about three miles from the dam.

Spring Creek Campground (5,800 feet) is just minutes away from the clear waters of the Frenchman Lake.

Lake Davis is one of the premier fishing lakes in Northern California.

Grasshopper Flat Campground is on the southeast side of Lake Davis. Ample shade is provided by the surrounding pine forest.

Grizzly Campground is on the south end of Lake Davis. Ample shade is provided by the mixed pine forest.

This boat launch facility is a single lane concrete ramp with seasonal loading dock.  It is located next to Grasshopper Flat Campground on the east side of Lake Davis.

Lake Davis was built in 1967. It was built to enhance the areas fishery and develop recreation.

The picnic area has a large unpaved parking area, covered picnic tables and a vault toilet. Interpretive signs here tell the story of Lake Davis.

Located nine miles southwest of Graeagle, California, this recreation area has special geological features.

Reservations are required and must be made no less than 3 days in advance.

Gold Lake Campground is located along the shores of Gold Lake at an elevation of 6,400 feet. There are 37 campsites available. 

This is the Plumas National Forest facility for accessing the Lakes Basin snowmobile trail system.

Gold Lake is the largest lake in the Lakes Basin Recreation Area. Its clear blue water spills into Frazier Creek and down to the Middle Fork of the Feather River.

Goose Lake Campground has 13 campsites that include table, fire ring, food locker, vault toilets and parking. Access to some campsites is via rough unpaved roads.

Haven Lake Campground has 4 campsites that include table, fire ring, food locker, vault toilets and parking.

Lakes Basin Campground is located in the Lakes Basin Recreation Area.

This group campground is available by reservation only. It is available for tent camping only for groups up to 25 people. It has seasonal water and trash service.
