Lunker Point Boat Launch Facility

No fees, services or boat dock after October 11, 2026.

This is one of two boat launch facilities on Frenchman Lake. It is located on the west shore about three miles from the dam. It includes a two-lane concrete boat ramp, seasonal loading dock and large parking area and two vault toilets.

Open 24 hours/day

Fishing swimming and diving are not allowed near the boat ramp and loading dock.

Daily launch fee and day use fee is $10, annual pass is available from campground hosts for $85

Directions

From Reno take highway 395 North to Halleluiah Junction. Head West on Highway 70 to Chilcoot. Head North on Highway 284 to Frenchman Lake. Continue another five miles to boat launch on the right.
