Lake Como Recreation Area
Lake Como Recreation Area offers something for everyone—whether you're seeking adventure, relaxation, or a perfect family getaway. Nestled on both sides of the sparkling Lake Como reservoir, this beloved destination features a sandy swimming beach, scenic picnic areas, a convenient boat launch, comfortable campgrounds, a group site, a charming rustic rental cabin, and access to several developed trailheads.
To help maintain these beautiful facilities, the area requires either an overnight camping fee or a day-use fee for popular amenities such as the beach, boat launch, and picnic sites. From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, all vehicles parked within the recreation area must display a valid Lake Como Day Pass.
Day Passes are just $5,or enjoy unlimited access all season long with a Season Pass for $30.
Purchasing is easy—Day Passes are available on-site at self-service fee stations, while both Day and Season Passes can be picked up at Forest Service offices in Darby, Hamilton, and Stevensville, as well as from select vendors in Hamilton and Darby.
