The National Urban and Community Forestry Advisory Council (NUCFAC) seeks innovative (new, cutting-edge or builds upon existing studies) grant proposals for program development, study, and collaboration that will launch some of the strategies in the (2016-2026) Ten Year Urban Forestry Action Plan.

The 2017 Request for Proposals solicited grants that addressed the following priority issues:

  • Developing a National Urban Forestry Funding Assessment and Methodology
  • Understand Urban Forest Ecosystem/Ecological Services

The application period for the 2017 grants cycle is closed. Please check back this winter for the 2018 Request for Proposals.
