The United States and Tribal Nations are creating a more realistic and progressive relationship that honors and respects Tribal sovereignty. This action plan details how the Forest Service will fulfill the Federal trust responsibility we have with Indigenous people, co-managing their ancestral homelands to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of forests and grasslands for present and future generations.
