From Recycled Plastic to Grizzly Wood

The Alaska Plastic Recovery (APR), leaders in sustainable construction, will give a presentation "From Recycled Plastic to Grizzly Wood" at the Begich, Boggs Visitor Center. APR transforms ocean waste, residential, and industrial plastics into Recycled Plastic Lumber and Recycled Plastic Bricks.

This talk will explore the processes and benefits of using recycled plastics in construction, focusing on Grizzly Wood’s environmental and practical advantages.

Grizzly Wood is plastic lumber manufactured from plastic ocean waste, post industrial resin and post consumer resin. Using plastics that would otherwise enter landfills, Grizzly Wood materials are durable, environmentally friendly and economical.
