Scenic Drives

Scenic drives on the Inyo are not hard to find! Just arriving and driving through the south end of the forest to the north takes you along the Eastern Sierra Scenic Byway on Highway 395. From Lone Pine to Bridgeport, enjoy breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, White and Inyo Mountain Ranges, huge lakes and vast, open sagebrush and volcanic calderas.

In the fall, people from all over the world come to enjoy the changing colors of the deciduous trees along these drives as well.
