Big Larch Campground
This campground is located on the east shoreline of Seeley Lake. A great place to cool off on a hot day, it has a beach and a boat launch as well as shade if you just want to lie around the campsite. Popular activities include: fishing, swimming, water skiing, boating, and bird watching. There is also an interpretive area and a nature trail at the campground.
Reservations
Make Reservations HereTwo group camping areas, 29 individual RV/tent campsites, and three bicycle campsites are available for reservation the Friday before Memorial Day to Labor Day. These campsites will transition to first-come/first-serve outside of these dates.
Nineteen individual sites are available on a First-Come/First-Serve basis. These campsites can be paid for onsite by scanning a QR Code using the Recreation.gov mobile app. Visitors will need to download the free recreation.gov mobile app through Android or iOS. This is best done prior to arrival.
General Information
A picnic table and fire ring are available at each campsite. There are 4 picnic areas with tables and fire rings. Other amenities include: on-site campground host, paved road, concrete boat launch and boat trailer parking, garbage dumpsters and recycling bins. It is 1 mile to groceries, gas, and sport rentals from this location. There is limited access during the winter months as snowplowing is done on an intermittent basis and only from the entrance directly to the boat launch for winter recreation access. Bear resistant trash and food containers must be closed and secured by users after depositing items. Failure to secure containers could result in a citation.
Day use facilities are open year-round from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily.

Single Site: $20/night (2 vehicles included/site).
Additional Vehicle: $5/night.
Group Site (A, B): $50/night.
Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to Single Campsites ONLY.

$20 per night. $5 fee for each additional vehicle after two vehicles. Fees charged from the Friday before Memorial Day through Labor Day. For Group A or Group B sites, the fee is $50.00 per night. Reserve group sites and individual sites at Recreation.gov.
Dogs must be leashed while in campgrounds.

Directions
- From I-90: take exit 109 for MT-200 E and travel for 32.3 mi. Turn left onto MT-83 N and travel 14.0 mi to Seeley Lake, MT. Continue north on Highway 83 for 1 mile. The campground entrance is located on the west side of the highway.
- Directions to Group Sites: Continue straight at the first fork and the group sites will be on the left.
- To Sites in Loop 1 (sites 1-10): Turn left at the fork, then turn right at the first intersection.
- To Sites in Loop 2 (sites 14-28): Turn left at the fork, then turn right at the second intersection.
- To Sites in Loop 3 (sites 34-49): Turn left at the fork, then turn right at the third intersection.
- To Sites in Loop 4 (sites 11-13, 29-33, 50): Continue straight at the fork, follow the road past the group sites, swimming beach, and bike sites. Loop 4 campsites are located on both sides of the access road.
Parking
Parking is allowed in the designated parking spur for each campsite only. Vehicles that do not fit will be charged an additional vehicle fee of $5.00 and must park in the day-use area. No parking along roadways.

Fishing - Lake & Pond Info
Anglers cast for a variety of freshwater fish including Kokanee salmon, bass, whitefish, pike, trout and perch, among other species.

Interpretive Areas/Exhibits Info
There is a nature trail and an interpretive area for "campfire talks" during the summer months. The site can be available for group use by contacting the Seeley Lake Ranger Station, 406-677-2233.

Picnicking - Single Info
The campground also offers a spacious day use area that includes a roped-off swimming beach, a boat ramp, a dock, boat trailer parking, and several picnic areas. Day use facilities are open year-round from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily. No fees or reservations are required for day use.
