USDA Wallace-Carver Fellowship
The Wallace-Carver Fellowship offers exceptional college and graduate students the opportunity to take part in ground-breaking field and laboratory-based research, analyze policy, and assist in managing Forest Service programs. The Wallace-Carver Fellowship seeks to educate, inspire, and train the next generation of scientific and humanitarian leaders.
Eligibility
To apply to the Wallace-Carver Fellowship, you must meet the following criteria:
Student who participated in a World Food Prize Youth Program
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
At least 18 years old
Registered as a full-time college student (undergraduate or graduate)
Benefits
Paid, full-time fellowship (40 hours per week)
Opportunity to participate in a week-long leadership symposium in Washington DC, hosted by the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture
Program Length
Wallace-Carver Fellowships take place from May to August and require an 8-week minimum work commitment.
