General Information

Directions:

From Leadville: Travel 19 miles south on US Highway 24, turn right on Lake County Road 390 (Clear Creek Road). Travel 11 miles on CR 390, the road forks and becomes FSR 390, drive on FSR 390 for 2 miles to the end of the road to reach the trailhead.

From Buena Vista: Travel 14 miles north of Buena Vista, turn left on Lake County Road 390 (Clear Creek Road). Travel 11 miles on CR 390, the road forks and becomes FSR 390, drive on FSR 390 for 2 miles to the end of the road to reach the trailhead.

The first few miles of Lake County Road 390 (Clear Creek Road) go through private property, please be respectful and stay on the road.
