Underhill Trail #683
This is a short and easy hike that connects that connects with many other trails. The connecting trails are primitive and arduous. Signage is limited in the area.
Beginning at Dufur Mill Road (Forest Road 44), head south 0.1 mile to Forest Road 4450. Cross the road and continue southwest 0.15 mile to a stairway and junction with trail #683. Continue 0.1 mile to a bridge crossing Ramsey Creek. From Ramsey Creek, continue southeast 0.7 mile to Forest Road 4421. Cross the road and continue downhill 1.7 miles to the intersection with Fifteen Mile Trail #456 and Cedar Creek Trail #457.
Trail maintenance is accomplished thanks to the help of the 44 Trails Association.

General Information
Directions:From Hood River, OR take OR Hwy 35 south 26 miles, approximately 0.15 mile past milepost 71, to Dufur Mill Road (Forest Road 44). Turn left (east) on Dufur Mill Road and drive approximately 12.2 miles east to Forest Road 4450 and park off the road. The trailhead is on the south side of Dufur Mill Road, approximately 0.25 mile west of the junction with Forest Road 4450.
From Dufur, OR go west on Dufur Mill Road and after 5.1 miles take the right fork to stay on Dufur Mill Road (Forest Road 44). Continue on Dufur Mill Road for 9.5 miles to Forest Road 4450 and park off the road. The trailhead is on the south side of Dufur Mill Road, approximately 0.25 mile west of the junction with Forest Road 4450.
