Columbine Corrals Trailhead


Area Status: Open

Ash Creek Trail #307 and Webb Peak Trail #345 begin at opposite ends of Columbine Corrals Campground. Ash Creek Trail starts across from the restrooms. Webb Peak Trail starts off the northwest side of the road as you enter the campground. Please do not park in the campsites. Additional parking is available across the road at the Columbine Visitor Center.

Restrictions: Vehicles (including trailers) longer than 22 feet are not recommended because of difficulty negotiating the switchbacks on AZ 366. This trailhead is not accessible from November 15 to April 15 when the Swift Trail is closed for the winter. Early or late snow may extend the inaccessible season.

Directions:

From Safford drive 8 miles south on US 191 to the Swift Trail (AZ 366). Turn right (southwest) onto AZ 366 and continue 29 miles to the Columbine Visitor Information Station.
