Link (#963)
Trails from here lead into the Rawah Wilderness area. The Link Trail (#963) trail climbs steadily for about five miles through a lodgepole pine forest to the Big McIntyre Burn, which offers great views of the surrounding country. The trail levels somewhat and continues south for another 4 miles. The trail intersects the Medicine Bow Trail (#965), the McIntyre Lake Trail (#964), and finally ends at the Rawah Trail near Rawah Lake #1. The McIntyre Lake Trail is a relatively short trail that branches off of the Link Trail at about seven miles. It provides access to McIntyre Lake then continues south and reconnects to the Link Trail near Rawah Lake #1. Access is from the Link-McIntyre trailhead that accommodates approximately 20 vehicles and 5 designated trailer spaces. The trailhead is located off of Larimer County Road 130, which in turn accesses off of Laramie River Road (County Road 103), and is just west of Browns Park Campground

General Information
Directions: Travel 11 miles northwest of Fort Collins on U.S. Highway 287. Turn left onto Colorado Highway 14, and travel 52 miles to County Road 103, Laramie River Road. Turn right and travel north about 16 miles to County Road 80C, Glendevey Road. Turn left and travel about 3 miles to the Link and McIntyre Trailhead parking on the left just past Browns Park Campground.Activities
Day Hiking
A long hike through a lodgepole pine forest, eventually it breaks out into the McIntyre Burn, an area that has never really recovered from a fire about a hundred years ago.
