St. Ignace

The St. Ignace area is just across the Mackinaw Bridge as you head north from the Lower Peninsula. As you drive over the bridge and get on to US 2, you'll find the St. Ignace District office a little ways down the road.

The area stretches north towards Sault Ste Marie and Lake Superior, while the southern portion touches the Mackinac Straits, and both Lake Huron and Lake Michigan. There are several lighthouses in the area, including Round Island, which can be seen as you drive over the bridge (to your right as you head north).

To the west it goes a little past MI-123, while to the east it's boundary is in Chippewa County.
