Volunteers

Volunteers are vital to the management of the Green Mountain National Forest. Every year volunteers assist with maintaining recreation sites, facilities, and trails, removing and managing non-native invasive species, stocking fish in our ponds and streams, releasing apple trees, providing visitor information, putting on interpretive programs, and working with our many partners.
