General Information

The Contract Area is approximately 501 acres on which harvest is confined to 44.1 acres on National Forest Lands within the Townships of Rochester and Hancock, Vermont. The timber included for this sale is approximately 63% sawtimber and 37% pulpwood. Sawtimber volume is approximately 52% softwood.

The Forest Service will receive Sealed bids at Rochester District Office before or at the time of public bid opening at 1:00 PM local time on 05/22/2025.  A showing will be conducted on Friday, May 2nd, 2025. Interested parties will meet at the CCC Camp, 2924 Brandon Mountain Road, Rochester, VT 05767, at 8:30 am EDT.
