Directions
From Mellen:
- Drive west on Highway GG 8 miles to FR 187 (Mineral Lake Rd).
- Turn right (north) on FR 187 and follow it 3 miles to the T intersection with FR 198 (Pine Stump Corner).
- Turn right (north) and continue 0.7 miles to the campground sign.
- Turn right into the campground.
From Clam Lake:
- Drive northwest on Highways GG & M and in 0.1 miles turn right (north) on GG and drive 11.3 miles to FR 187 (Mineral Lake Rd).
- Turn left (north) on FR 187 and follow it 3 miles to the T intersection with FR 198 (Pine Stump Corner).
- Turn right (north) and continue 0.7 miles to the campground sign.
- Turn right into the campground.

A boat launch provides access to Lake Three.
Boating - Non-Motorized Info
Lake Three provides access for canoeing, kayaking, paddling and many other non-motorized activities.
Fishing - Lake & Pond Info
Lake Three is primarily a bass and panfish lake. You can also find brook trout.
Backpacking Info
A small parking area across from Lake Three is maintained by the North Country Trail Association providing access to the North Country National Scenic Trail for backpacking and hiking.
