KY 77 in Red River Gorge closed for road work, Oct 7

KY 77 in the Red River Gorge in Menifee County will be closed for replacement of a drainage pipe at milepoint 0.3 (between National Forest System Road 23 and KY 715) on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

No marked detour will be posted. Drivers can use FS 23, KY 613, KY 599 and US 460 through Powell and Montgomery counties as an alternate route to bypass the closure.
