Interrorem Nature Trail #804
Take a step back in time to the early 1900's when Forest Ranger Emery Finch brought his bride to live in the Duckabush area! This 0.3 mile accessible interpretive loop trail winds through large second-growth trees growing among giant stumps of cedars (up to 9 ft. in diameter) and firs. The area provides a rainforest atmosphere with a variety of ferns and mosses. This is a well maintained accessible nature trail with interpretive signs. This loop trail is easy and is an excellent hike with small children.
For an extended, and slightly more difficult hike, take the adjacent Ranger Hole Trail #824 down to the Duckabush River. Be careful as the trail ends abruptly above the rushing water.
General Information
A valid Recreation Pass is required at Ranger Hole trailhead.
Trail is closed to motorized vehicles, mountain bicycles and stock.

Directions
From Hoodsport, WA travel US Highway 101 north for approximately 22 miles to the Duckabush Recreation Area. Turn west onto the Duckabush River Road/Forest Service Road #2510 and travel 4 miles to end of pavement. Interrorem Cabin and Ranger Hole Trailhead are on the left.
