Acting Forest Supervisor
Joyce Hamilla joined the Olympic National Forest in May of 2026 as Acting Forest Supervisor.
Hamilla has served the Forest Service for 9 years and most recently held the positions of Deputy Director for Data, Geospatial, & Information Management for the Pacific States of the Forest Service and Chief of Staff for the USFS Pacific Region. Prior to these roles, Joyce served as the interagency Director of the Oregon Federal Executive Board and in a number of senior leadership roles in the Diplomatic and National Security community following her time as an officer in the U.S. Air Force.
Deputy Forest Supervisor
Christina Milos joined the Olympic National Forest as Deputy Forest Supervisor in September 2025.
Milos joins the forest after most recently serving as acting Director for the U.S. Forest Service’s Planning Service Center. In her 9-year career with the agency, she has had extensive experience in leadership, program management, and collaboration. She began her career with a decade of international experience in natural resource management and community engagement with non-profit and international organizations.
