Blackpine Trailhead

Provides access to Blackjack Ridge Trail #1565 within Alpine Lakes Wilderness connecting with Snowall-Cradle Lake Trail #1560 and Meadow Creek Trail #1559.

General Information

  • Recreation passes honored: Digital Day Pass, Northwest Forest Pass, and Interagency Recreation Passes.
  • Wilderness permit required: visitors need to fill out a free permit at the trailhead.

$5 per vehicle per day
$30 per annual

Directions

From Leavenworth, head southwest on US-2 for 0.8 mile. Turn left onto Icicle Road and follow for about 18 miles. The road becomes gravel at about 13-mile point (now called Forest Road 7600) and makes a left turn to cross Icicle Creek at about 15-mile point. At about 18-mile point, trailhead is just before Black Pine Horse Camp.
