Timber operations to impact roads around Olallie Lake
Hazard tree work including timber falling, logging, and hauling will occur on Forest Road 4220 in two general areas:
- Hand-fallers and traffic flaggers are will be working at the north side of Monon Lake and extend south to Horseshoe Lake.
- Log loading and processing will occur south of Triangle Lake Horse Camp toward Lower Lake Campground.
Visitors should expect occasional, brief traffic delays in the area. Traffic signs will be in place prior to timber haul.
There may be minimal impacts to the immediate Olallie Lake area and the nearby Pacific Crest Trail. Work is expected to continue through early October.
Road work for timber operations on Forest Roads 4690 and 4220 to Olallie Lake Resort was completed in late August.
