Bishop Park Campground
Bishop Park is one of the most popular campgrounds in the Bishop Creek Area. Located on the banks of the Middle Fork of Bishop Creek, Bishop Park has grassy lawns and campsites right on the creek. Many of the 21 campsites are walk in tent sites. Not recommended for large RVs, there are a few sites that will accommodate smaller rigs. CAUTION: Bears are frequent in this area. All food must be kept in approved containers. There are 2 bear proof storage lockers on site.
General Information
Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
America the Beautiful Senior and Access Passes are accepted for half priced camping. Follow the instructions on the bulletin board at the campground.
Maximum stay 14 days. Active bear area. All food must be secured overnight and when not attended, bear boxes are provided and must be used (typical bear box size 48" x 30" x 36"). Always keep a clean camp and do not feed wildlife.
Overnight Use:
Single Site: $34 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per vehicle per night
Dogs must be leashed in all developed recreation sites.
