Peace Valley Campground (Group ONLY)
Peace Valley Group Campground is located just 27 miles north of Garden Valley, Idaho, at an approximate elevation of 4,591 feet. The beautiful Peace Valley offers excellent hiking, fishing and hunting opportunities.
Natural Features:
The surrounding area consists of high, forested mountains and steep valleys. The campground lies close to an experimental forest and a fire lookout.
A variety of wildlife makes its home in and around Peace Valley, including deer, elk, bald eagles and red-tailed hawks.
Recreation:
Peace Valley offers several trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback and off-road vehicle riding. Peace Creek Trail and Bitter Creek Trail both begin nearby. The Rattlesnake Trail and 465 ATV Trail are in the vicinity of the campground. Check with the Emmett Ranger District Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) and the Boise National Forest map for areas of OHV riding on roads and trails in the area.
Peace Creek and nearby Silver Creek offer excellent fishing most of the year. Anglers cast for whitefish and rainbow trout.
In-season big game hunting for deer, elk and bear is a popular activity in the surrounding mountains.
Nearby Attractions:
Silver Creek Plunge, a privately developed hot springs resort, is 2.5 miles away with a hot springs pool, general store, concessions, volleyball and basketball courts, playground and horseshoe pits.

Facilities:
Site is reservable as a group unit only. This fully-accessible campground is a small facility with just 5 units that make up one group site that can accommodate up to 50 people.
This is a 'pack it in, pack it out' facility and campers must remove all trash upon departure. Peace Valley Campground is formerly known as Silver Creek Campground.
The campsites have fire rings, picnic tables, grills and a vault toilet. One site contains a small picnic shelter. There is a private resort and hot springs pool near the campground.
It serves Habit Creek (#026 in Lowman RD), Peace Creek (#026 in Emmett RD) and Devil’s Slide (#034) trail.

Directions
- From Boise, Idaho, travel north on State Highway 55 to Banks, Idaho. Turn east on the Banks-Lowman Highway 17 and continue east for 8 miles toward Garden Valley.
- Turn left/north on Middle Fork Payette Road (Forest Service Road 698) and pass through Crouch, Idaho.
- Proceed north on the Middle Fork Payette Road 698 approximately 16 miles to Silver Creek Road (Forest Service Road 671).
- Turn northeast on FS Road 671 and continue approximately 10 miles to the campground.
- You will pass the Silver Creek Campground. The campground is about 2 miles further.
