Lowman Nature Ponds

The Lowman Nature Ponds are a great place for the family to fish and close to State Highway 21 just north of Lowman, Idaho.

Two ponds are stocked with trout by the Idaho Fish and Game.

The ponds provide a restful place for fishing from shore and picnicking.  Boats are not allowed on the ponds.  A restroom is on site.

Directions

From Boise, Idaho, travel north along State Highway 55 to Banks, Idaho approximately 38 miles.

At Banks, turn right (east) onto State Highway 17 (Banks-Lowman Road) and proceed 31 miles to Lowman, Idaho.

At Lowman, turn left at the intersection of State Highway 17 and State Highway 21.  Proceed northeast towards Stanley, Idaho along State Highway 21.

After mile marker 85 turn right and cross the South Fork of the Payette River to the Lowman Ponds.
