Billy Rice Swim Beach

The Billy Rice Swim Beach is a favorite spot on a hot summer day for a swim and picnic.

The small sandy beach is surrounded by tall trees and located near Picnic Point and Shoreline Campgrounds. 

There is limited parking for less than a dozen cars, but can easily be reached by walking from the parking lot at Shoreline Boating.

A restroom and picnic tables are provided.

Directions

From Boise, Idaho, travel approximately 80 miles north on State Highway 55 to Cascade, Idaho. 

From Cascade, Idaho, travel 1 mile north on State Highway 55 to the Forest Highway 22 (Warm Lake Highway) turnoff. 

Turn east and travel 25 miles to the Forest Service (FS) Road 427 turnoff just past South Fork Salmon River Campground. 

Turn right onto FS Road 427 and proceed approximately 1.5 miles to Billy Rice Swim Beach. 

The beach is on the west side of Warm Lake and a great spot to cool off on a hot summer day and have a picnic!
