Rio De Las Vacas Campground
Tall Ponderosa Pines and meadows frame the Rio de las Vacas Campground. The Rio de las Vacas stream runs alongside the east boundary of the campground and offers fishing adjacent to camping sites. The campground is located approximately one mile past the Clear Creek Campground. May to October, picnicking in the open meadows, fishing the river or hunting the forests make this campground popular throughout the season.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please be respectful to other campers and turn off generators during quiet hours.
Santa Fe National Forest honors America the Beautiful Interagency Passes. Senior Pass (Lifetime and Annual) and Access Pass holders receive a 50% discount on single unit campsites.
Overnight Use:
Single Site: $10 per night
Starting 5/9/2025 the site will be $20.00 per site, per night, for each campsite. Only two (2) vehicles are permitted at each camp site, this includes the tow vehicle or RV.
