This fishing site provides access to the San Antonio River in San Diego Canyon. A restroom is available at this site. The parking area also accomodates overflow parking for Spence Hot Spring.

Facilities: Paved parking and vault toilet.
Special Instructions: Clean fish away from river and parking area. Day use only; no overnight camping.

Dark Canyon Fishing site is OPEN for the Season. Please be advised there is a $5.00 Day use fee at this day use site. For ease of use download the Recreation.gov app prior to arriving and be signed in. You can pay for the site through the app without cellular service. Enjoy the 2025 Season
