Cypress Picnic Area

The Cypress Picnic Area is located off the General Hitchcock Highway on Mt. Lemmon near the transition of oaks to pine trees. It has a day use fee of $8, with all passes accepted. The site is wheelchair accessible with easy access to the vault toilets and picnic tables. There is a grill at each picnic table with trash cans available near the toilets. Enjoy this peaceful location with more private picnic tables situated within the pine trees.

Day use only; no overnight camping allowed

Proof of payment, or a valid Coronado National Forest Annual Pass or Interagency (America the Beautiful) Pass, including the Annual, Senior, Access, or Military Pass, must be displayed on the driver's side of vehicle dashboard. Learn more about accepted passes.
