From E Turkey Run Rd the Aspen Draw Trail meanders uphill moderately challengingly for 1.9 miles. This is a great summer/spring hike. Dogs are welcome on this trail but must be on a leash. This is a popular downhill mountain biking route. Mountain bikers are reminded to yield to hikers. Parking is limited at the E Turkey Run Road dead-end, but additional parking is available at the Iron Door Restaurant parking area creating a 1.4 mile hike to the top. To access the trailhead cross the road from the parking area on the right, walk downhill behind the guardrail, and you will see the unmarked start to the trail.

Directions

E Turkey Run Road:
Take the Catalina Highway off Tanque Verde Road in Tucson. Drive 4.2 miles to the Forest boundary and continue 29 miles then turn right onto E Turkey Run Road until it deadends at .5 miles.

Iron Door Restaurant Parking:
Take the Catalina Highway off Tanque Verde Road in Tucson. Drive 4.2 miles to the Forest boundary and continue 29 miles then turn right onto E Ski Run Road for 1.4 miles. Parking will be on the right at the Iron Door Restaurant. To access the trailhead cross the road, walk downhill behind the guardrail and you will see the unmarked start to the trail.
