Otero Canyon Trailhead

Otero Canyon Trailhead is approximately 4 miles south of I-40, on NM 337. The parking area provides space for approximately 20 passenger cars with no designated trailer parking.

  • It is the recreationist’s responsibility to know which trails are designated for motorized vehicles and to follow the guidelines.
  • It is a multi-user area.

Directions

From Albuquerque, exit off I-40 at Exit 175. At the bottom of the ramp there is a traffic light. Continue straight through the light on NM 337 (south) for about 4 miles. Look for the Otero Canyon sign and a dirt parking area on the right (west) side of the road.
