Bartlett Trail #1310

The Bartlett Trail #1310 is 10.4 miles long in the Greenhorn Mountain Wilderness and is open to nonmotorized/nonmechanized use only.

The Greenhorn Mountain Wilderness was established in 1993 to preserve its quality, character and integrity. This area is intended to be a place where the imprint of humans is substantially unnoticed, where natural processes are the primary influences and where human activity is limited to primitive recreation and minimum tools. Please follow Leave No Trace Outdoor Ethics to ensure that current and future generations experience this special place in its natural condition.

Getting There

Trailhead/Starting Points

The Bartlett Trail has two trailhead access points: the east trailhead and the northwest trailhead.

Directions

East trailhead is located near the town of Rye, Colorado, southwest of State Highway 165. Head west through the town of Rye on Main Street, then turn left on Boulder. Make another left on Graneros road, a right on Hunter and one more right onto Baxter.

Northwest trailhead is located off Forest Service Road 369. From Rye, Colorado, head north on State Highway 165 to Ophir Creek, Forest Service Road 360, and go left. Travel on Forest Service Road 360 for 12 miles, then take a left onto Greenhorn Road/Forest Service Road and travel to the end, which is about 17 miles.
